O PROJETO
Mais um ano, mais uma colheita! Em 2022, a família Matos pediu que se projetasse o rótulo para uma edição limitadas de meia centena de garrafas de azeite, desta vez cilíndricas.
O PROCESSO
O avô Matos, herdeiro do Olival, pintou, em tempos, a magnetizante vista para o Douro, cenário que rodeia o Olival Vila Marim. Esta pintura foi o objeto escolhido para marcar o contributo do avô através dos rótulos do azeite. Esta obra foi lascada e distribuída por cada uma das 50 garrafas.
A acompanhar a tira colorida, outra mais sóbria e de fundo branco é composta apenas por elementos tipográficos.
O RESULTADO
O rótulo, que tira partido da superfície cilíndrica da garrafa, abraça-a em duas faixas. A faixa de contem uma lâmina da pintura diferencia uma garrafa da seguinte, tornando todas as garrafas únicas.
Através de um QR Code colado no fundo de cada garrafa era possível ver a pintura completa.

THE PROJECT
Another year, another harvest! In 2022, the Matos family asked us to design the label for a limited edition of half a hundred bottles of olive oil, this time cylindrical.
THE PROCESS
Grandfather Matos, heir to the Olival, once painted the magnetising view of the Douro, the scenery that surrounds Olival Vila Marim. This painting was the object chosen to mark his grandfather’s contribution through the olive oil labels. This work was chipped and distributed to each of the 50 bottles. Accompanying the colourful strip, another more sober one with a white background is composed only of typographic elements.
THE RESULT
The label, which takes advantage of the cylindrical surface of the bottle, embraces it in two bands. The strip containing one sheet of paint differentiates one bottle from the next, making all the bottles unique. Using a QR Code stuck to the bottom of each bottle, it was possible to see the complete painting.
